Meet the Team

When Aaron Tatum went into residential home building, he did it with both eyes open, and armed with multiple talents. Born in Oklahoma City, he was raised and attended high school in Moore. Having a mom sell real estate provided early exposure to the residential market. In high school, Tatum became interested in two fields that still serve him well – drafting and woodwork. He graduated in the top of his class from Central State University. This curious blend of math and art talent is evident in each masterpiece he builds. Today, he thinks of each home as a work of art.

In 2001, Zach joined Tatum Homes as a Builder and Architect, largely due to his determination and dedication to designing unique and imaginative homes. First employed mowing lawns as a young teenager, Zach is no stranger to hard work with a strong professional ethic – traits undoubtedly beneficial as he serves in the SWHBA. Tatum Homes is proud of his role in building the SWHBA 2012 Showcase House.

When not at work, Zach and his wife take an active role in the Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma. They also enjoy the thrill of drag racing a Super Street 1972 Nova or cruising the open highways on a 2011 Harley Davidson Road King Classic.

michelleAfter ten years as an Escrow Officer for a well-known title company, Michelle was ready to be a part of a family-owned business with high morals, integrity, and carefully nurtured business ethics. In 1991, she joined the Tatum Homes team and has been managing the accounting, marketing, and human resources functions and hasn’t looked back.

An Oklahoma native, Michelle cherishes the life she’s built here and enjoys spending time with family and friends outside of work. She’s active in her church and loses herself in gardening, sewing, or painting to relax – very fitting for someone who whole-heartedly subscribes to Helen Keller’s belief that “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt.”

lindaAs life sometimes does, tragedy can bring unexpected blessings, and that is exactly what happened in 2007 when Linda’s husband passed and she found herself looking to stay busy. Her responsibilities as Office Manager, not only keep her busy, but give her a sense of pride and contentment as she works with a team she loves.

Another born and bred Oklahoman, Linda is an avid fan of OU football and basketball. She enjoys her work on the Capitol Hill Class of ’66 High School Reunion Committee, the theater, and travel by cruise ship. Linda’s upbeat attitude that she is “over the hill, picking up speed, know where she’s going, and loving every minute of it,” exemplify her unquestionable vibrancy!
